The course will focus on the different types of commercial carpet cleaning and the appropriate methods and equipment to use. Furthermore, the importance of effective pricing and developing key business relationships.

Day One - NCCA Commercial Cleaning Workshop

We are happy to present a unique commercial cleaning opportunity for Members. A real-life scenario, cleaning a commercial office space and facilities within the Museum of Carpet. This is a must for Members who are new to carpet cleaning or want to start commercial cleaning. 

The cleaning techniques will be a mixture of using both portable and Truck-mounted equipment.

If you are new to commercial work you will benefit from being involved “hands-on” in a live working job.

We will cover:

  • Pre-plan arrival
  • Health & safety – risk assessment and method statement
  • Client requirements
  •  Learn to scope the job

Identification

  • Type of carpet
  • Areas of treatment
  • Products & and equipment to use
  • Potential risk areas
  • Draught marks

Documentation

  • Working from plans
  • Presentation to Client
  • Completion of pre-cleaning survey form
